Golf is available only thirty minutes away.
The region is also famous for its wine, predominately the red but the total range covers a wide variety of flavours, body and bouquet.
The beautiful sandy beaches stretching down the Atlantic coastline are a haven for surfers, wind-surfers, kite-surfers and sun worshippers alike and a quiet or even empty beach is never hard to find.
